Madagascar: Ahlulbayt Center in Mahajanga Holds Fatimid Commemoration Ceremony
————————————
The Ahlulbayt Center in Mahajanga, Madagascar, held a religious gathering to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), marking the beginning of the first Fatimid Days.
The center dedicated its weekly Husseini Majlis to remembering the life and suffering of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the first narration of her martyrdom. The gathering was attended by followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), who expressed their condolences on this solemn occasion.
Participants reflected on the status, virtues, and teachings of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), as well as the importance of preserving Fatimid values and knowledge within the community.
The event was part of a wider series of Fatimid commemorations held by Shia communities around the world during this period, aimed at honoring the legacy of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and strengthening connections with the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).
It should be mentioned that the center is an active religious hub associated with the Office of the Supreme Marja, Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, and offers religious and cultural activities round the year.
