Hungarian activist says that the Western media is the main factor behind the spread of Islamophobia in European countries.
ZultanPulk, the head of Hungary’s Islamic Society, said the media portrays a negative image of Islam and Muslims and tries to present Muslims as extremists.
He also deplored the growing anti-Islamic sentiments and Islamophobia in Hungary.
Pulk said Muslims are more and more under threat from radical Islamophobes.
He added that Hijab-wearing Muslim women are suffering the most from the growing Islamophobia in the Eastern European country.
