CAIR Launches Muslims.Vote Platform to Encourage Muslim Civic Participation Ahead of 2026 Elections

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has launched Muslims.Vote, a national voter engagement platform aimed at helping American Muslim voters participate in elections and access resources ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

The platform provides tools for checking voter registration status, finding polling locations, identifying upcoming primary and general election dates, understanding voting rights, and creating personalized voting plans. It also offers civic engagement resources and advocacy materials.

CAIR said the initiative is designed to reduce barriers to political participation and encourage eligible Muslim voters to become more active in shaping public policy and defending community interests through the electoral process.

The organization highlighted that the American Muslim community includes more than 8 million people, with over 3 million registered voters, and said increased voter participation could have a significant impact, particularly in competitive states.

The launch comes ahead of Michigan’s primary election on August 4, 2026, with CAIR urging eligible voters to verify their registration, locate polling places, and prepare their voting plans.

CAIR has emphasized civic engagement as a means for American Muslims to contribute to social justice efforts and participate in the democratic process.
