Widespread Muharram and Arbaeen Mourning Gatherings Held Across Pakistan
——————————-
With the arrival of the month of Safar and the approaching Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), mourning ceremonies and religious gatherings are being held across Pakistan to commemorate the sacrifices of the captives of Karbala, particularly Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) and the family of the Prophet (peace be upon them).

According to Shia Waves Agency, cities including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Islamabad have witnessed large-scale mourning gatherings, chest-beating processions and elegy recitations as part of the commemorations.

During these ceremonies, religious speakers discuss the messages of Ashura, the patience and steadfastness of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), and the sacrifices made by Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

Special gatherings for women have also been organized in various parts of the country, reflecting the deep devotion of Pakistani communities to Hussaini rituals and their efforts to commemorate the Arbaeen season.
