Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation Concludes First Aid Workshop in Karbala

The Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has concluded its “Husseini First Responder” first aid workshop in the holy city of Karbala, organized by the Foundation’s Development and Training Department as part of its “Lessons from Karbala in Humanity” program.

The free four-hour workshop, held at the Karbala Human Rights Commission building, was attended by volunteers and individuals interested in developing emergency response skills. The program aimed to strengthen participants’ ability to handle medical emergencies and promote first aid awareness as an essential skill that can help save lives and reduce the impact of injuries.

The training included scientific lectures and practical exercises covering first aid principles and proper methods for dealing with various emergency situations, enhancing participants’ readiness to respond effectively during accidents or health emergencies.

The workshop is part of a series of educational and training initiatives implemented by the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation to spread health awareness, build community capabilities, and promote humanitarian values inspired by the movement of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The initiatives also support volunteer culture and community service, particularly ahead of the Arbaeen pilgrimage season, which brings millions of visitors to Karbala.
