Karbala Writers Union Holds 10th Annual Hussaini Poetry Festival

The Writers and Authors Union of Holy Karbala, under the patronage of the General Union of Iraqi Writers and Authors, held its 10th annual Hussaini Poetry Festival with the participation of poets and literary figures from Karbala, Diwaniyah and Babil provinces.

The festival was attended by a number of cultural and literary figures and featured a series of poetry readings inspired by the values and messages of the uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

The festival included poetry performances focusing on themes such as faith, dignity, patience and social reform, with attendees engaging with the presented works.

The event concluded with the honoring of participating poets and writers through the presentation of appreciation certificates, recognizing their role in preserving Hussaini literary heritage and strengthening cultural activities connected to religious commemorations in Holy Karbala.
