Memphis Islamic Center Opens Doors to Promote Dialogue

Memphis Islamic Center held an open house on Sunday to address misconceptions about Islam and encourage dialogue with the wider community.

The “Open Mosque” event welcomed neighbors from across Memphis to meet local Muslim families, learn about Islamic beliefs and ask questions in a respectful setting.

Organizers said the goal was to replace misinformation with understanding and build stronger relationships between the mosque and the local community.

The programme included a presentation on Islam followed by an open question-and-answer session.
