Representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Emphasizes Spreading Message of Ghadir Across Islamic World in Istanbul

Coinciding with the arrival of the blessed Eid al-Ghadir Khumm, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Jalal Ma‘ash, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, delivered a speech at the Sahib al-Zaman Hussainiya, may Allah hasten his noble reappearance, in the city of Istanbul, commemorating this great Islamic occasion.
Referring to the lofty status of Ghadir in the continuation of Islamic guidance, Sheikh Ma‘ash stressed the importance of introducing the message of this historic event more widely to Muslims and freedom-seekers around the world. He stated that Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has called on everyone to convey the message of Ghadir and has considered this responsibility a collective duty for believers.
According to Shia Waves Agency, Sheikh Jalal Ma‘ash also emphasized that promoting the culture of Ghadir should begin within the family. He encouraged believers on Eid al-Ghadir to honor this great occasion by giving gifts to family members, friends, and devotees of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
He further described feeding the poor, the Sayyids, and the lovers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, as one of the valuable traditions of Eid al-Ghadir and a manifestation of Islamic love and solidarity.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his noble reappearance, the well-being of Shia Muslims, and the increasing success of those serving Islam.
