Muslims Mark Eid al-Adha Prayers in Afghanistan, Syria, and Russia

Muslim worshippers gathered in several countries to perform Eid al-Adha prayers, with ceremonies reported in Afghanistan, Syria, and Russia amid spiritual and communal atmospheres.
In Afghanistan, Eid al-Adha prayers were held with a large turnout of Shia Muslims at the Central Grand Mosque in Zaranj, the capital of Nimruz Province. The ceremony took place in a suitable security environment as worshippers marked one of the major Islamic occasions.
According to Afghanistan’s Khabar Taza Telegram channel, Shia communities also held Eid prayers in the Kohsan, Pashtun Zarghun, and Kushk-e Rabat Sangi districts of Herat Province, with broad participation from local residents.
In Syria, pilgrims and lovers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, gathered at the holy shrine of Sayyida Zaynab, peace be upon her, to perform Eid al-Adha prayers.
In Russia, Moscow Cathedral Mosque also witnessed a large Eid prayer attended by Muslims of different nationalities. The gathering highlighted religious solidarity and peaceful coexistence among Muslim communities in the Russian capital.
The ceremonies reflected the shared spiritual significance of Eid al-Adha for Muslims across different regions and communities.
