Turkey Makes Highways, Public Transport Free During Eid al-Adha

The Turkish government is implementing a plan to make a wide range of transport services free across the country during Eid al-Adha.

The decision covers state-run highways, major bridges, and public transport networks in large cities.

According to Anadolu Agency, a Turkish government decree has made passage on state-managed highways and two major bridges in Istanbul free during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

The report also stated that parts of the rail transport network in major cities, including Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, will provide free services to citizens during this period.

The measure aims to facilitate holiday travel and reduce transportation costs for the public.
