Quranic Recitation Program Launched for Women at Prophet’s Mosque in Medina

The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a Quranic recitation initiative for women within the women’s prayer areas of the Prophet’s Mosque, as part of preparations for the 2026 Hajj season, according to IQNA.

The program aims to promote the study of the Holy Quran and empower female visitors to improve and master their recitation. It offers in-person sessions as well as online recitation correction programs, allowing pilgrims to make effective use of their spiritual time in Medina.

Officials noted that the initiative provides professional guidance in a tranquil environment, ensuring a productive and enriching Quranic learning experience for women during their pilgrimage.
