Misbah al-Hussein Continues Distributing Ramadan Food Aid to Needy Families in Iraq, Lebanon

The Misbah Al-Hussain Foundation is continuing its annual Ramadan food assistance program for the Islamic year 1447 AH, distributing food baskets to vulnerable families in several regions as part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at easing economic hardships during the holy month.

The project is being carried out in response to guidance from the senior religious authority, Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, with the goal of supporting low-income households across parts of the Muslim world.

According to the foundation, distribution efforts have covered multiple provinces in Iraq. Food baskets have been delivered to eligible families through cooperation with local charities and community organizations.

The foundation said the campaign is being implemented with direct oversight from the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi and in cooperation with the Imam Hussain Media Group and IHC Organization. The Ramadan basket program has been one of the foundation’s recurring humanitarian initiatives since its establishment.

Preparations for the initiative began before the start of Ramadan, including purchasing food supplies and setting up packaging and distribution sites. The foundation’s president, Sheikh Mustafa Al-Mohammadi, emphasized ensuring the quality of the food items provided to beneficiary families.

Distribution is expected to continue until the final ten days of Ramadan, with the aim of reaching as many needy households as possible during the holy month.
