New Mass Graves of ISIS Victims Discovered in Sinjar; Renewed Hope for Yazidi Families

The discovery and examination of newly found mass graves in eastern Sinjar has revived a sense of hope among Yazidi families.

According to the Shia Waves Agency, citing the Associated Press, the graves contain the remains of women, children, and elderly people who were brutally executed during the ISIS attack in the summer of 2014.

Initial assessments indicate that the site holds the remains of dozens of victims, and samples have been sent to forensic authorities for DNA testing.
