The Global Nonviolence Organization (Freemuslim Association) has voiced deep concern over the recent and ongoing military escalation between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, warning of its potential impact on regional security and humanitarian stability.
In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the organization acknowledged the historical, geographic, and security complexities shaping relations between the two countries but stressed that the use of force would only lead to further loss of life and instability across South Asia.
The group called for an immediate and unconditional halt to hostilities and urged the leaderships in Islamabad and Kabul to order a ceasefire and end all cross-border military operations. It emphasized that bloodshed must stop without delay.
The organization urged both sides to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable means of resolving border, security, and economic disputes through open and transparent negotiations. It also appealed to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other regional and international bodies to facilitate mediation and support peace efforts.
Concluding its statement, the group reaffirmed that violence breeds more violence, asserting that nonviolence and cooperation remain essential to achieving lasting peace and shared prosperity for both nations.
