Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi has emphasized the importance of adhering to the Prophet Muhammad and his household (peace be upon them) through genuine commitment to God’s commandments. Speaking from his office in Holy Najaf during visits by clerical and public delegations, al-Najafi said that true devotion must be reflected in daily conduct and social behavior.

The delegations, arriving from across Iraq and several Islamic countries, visited the cleric to extend congratulations on the Prophet’s birthday and the birth anniversary of Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq. The groups included religious leaders, academics, and community figures who expressed their attachment to the teachings of the Prophet’s family.

In his remarks, Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi highlighted the need to celebrate religious occasions in ways that strengthen awareness and reinforce Islamic values. He urged believers to follow the Prophet and Imam al-Sadiq in both knowledge and practice, and concluded with prayers for stability, peace, and prosperity for the Muslim community.
