A fire in a 26-story apartment building in Ankara killed three people, including a three-and-a-half-month-old baby, local media reported. The blaze started around 10 p.m. Saturday on the fourth floor and spread quickly through the building, according to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency. Firefighters took four hours to extinguish the flames.

Thirty-nine people, including seven firefighters, suffered light smoke inhalation. Paramedics treated 26 people at the scene, while 20 others were hospitalized, one in critical condition. Authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the fire as investigations continue.
