UAE starts 4th phase of Gaza water supply project

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched the fourth phase of its humanitarian water supply project in the Gaza Strip as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” Arab News reported.

This initiative aims to reduce the suffering of Palestinian civilians amid a worsening humanitarian crisis. The current phase focuses on repairing 28 non-operational central wells across several Gaza governorates, benefiting nearly 700,000 residents by ensuring continued access to essential water services.

Previous phases of the project included daily water distribution via tankers, drilling emergency wells along the southern coast, and constructing submersible wells to boost water supply.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 also delivers vital food, health, and utility aid across Gaza, reinforcing the UAE’s dedication to assisting Palestinians during times of acute need. This marks the fourth water-related initiative under the UAE’s broader humanitarian efforts in the region.
