Coordinator Saeed Sheikh emphasized the event’s role in promoting interfaith harmony. The evening began with a Quran recitation and a video message from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who extended Ramadan greetings.
Whitmer praised the event as a collective celebration of community unity, while Green expressed his opposition to any travel bans based on religion.
