Boston University expands Ramadan support with prayer spaces and special meals

Boston University is enhancing support for Muslim students during holy month of Ramadan by providing designated prayer spaces and specially prepared iftar and suhoor meals.

For the second year, BU Dining Services will serve iftar at Bay State Underground in Marciano Commons, featuring diverse dishes such as lamb haleem and mango lassi.

Suhoor meals will be available for pickup through the Rhetty-To-Go service. However, meal services will pause during spring break (March 10-14).

Daily prayers will be held at Kilachand Honors College on weekdays and at the George Sherman Union Alley on weekends. Extended night prayers will take place at Marsh Chapel on select dates.
