Grand Ayatollah Shirazi offers condolences on Sayyeda Zainab’s painful martyrdom

In a statement on his official website, he highlighted Sayyeda Zainab’s resilience and steadfastness, nurtured in the household of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. He referenced her defiance against Yazid, citing her as a symbol of patience and sacrifice.
The Grand Marja stressed that Ahlulbayt commemorations are not mere rituals but opportunities to uphold truth and share their teachings globally, concluding his statement with prayers for renewed commitment to their principles and inspiration from Sayyeda Zainab’s unwavering stance against tyranny.
