Pakistan: Four Terrorists Killed During Anti-Terrorist Operations

In an intelligence-based operation on Wednesday, October 9, security forces killed two terrorists in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Dawn reported citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operation was initiated following reports of terrorist presence, leading to an intense firefight. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the deceased terrorists, linked to various attacks against security forces and civilians.

Additionally, ISPR reported that earlier on the same day, two terrorists were neutralized during a thwarted suicide attack on a military facility in Zhob, Balochistan.

A total of 45 terrorist attacks occurred across Pakistan in September, marking a 24% decrease from the previous month, resulting in 54 fatalities, including 29 security personnel. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa faced the highest number of incidents, with 27 attacks.
