Four Law Enforcement Personnel Killed in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Attacks
Four personnel from law enforcement agencies were killed in armed attacks across Pishin and Khyber districts, with a traffic police constable also sustaining gunshot wounds, Dawn Online Newspaper reported yesterday.
The first attack occurred late Tuesday night at a security check post in Pishin, claiming the lives of Levies officials Yasin Alyas and Abdul Qadeer. A traffic policeman was injured in a subsequent attack while on duty in Pishin Bazaar.
In Khyber, militants targeted the Charwazgai check post, resulting in the deaths of two policemen, sub-inspector Alamzeb Afridi and constable Sher Alam, along with a civilian, Naib Shah. The attackers fled after retaliatory fire from police. Search operations are ongoing in both districts to apprehend those responsible.
