Kashmir: 2 militants killed, security personnel injured during exchange of fire in Baramulla

In a counterterrorism operation in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces engaged in a gunfight with militants, resulting in the killing of two insurgents and the injury of two security personnel, Muslim Mirror published yesterday.

The clash occurred during a cordon and search operation conducted by a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces in the Watergam area, based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists.

The firefight lasted for several hours before the two militants were neutralized. The injured security personnel were evacuated and are receiving medical treatment.
