Iran: Blast at brick kiln injures 10 Afghan workers

10 Afghan workers were injured on Friday in an explosion at a brick kiln in Fars province of Iran, Khamma press reported.

According to Iranian emergency service officials, the explosion happened because of gas leakage, in which six individuals suffered severe burns and one sustained head injuries due to the force of the blast.

The injured have been transferred to Shahid Motahari Hospital in Marvdasht city, Fars province, the source added.

A significant number of Afghans who have migrated to Iran work under harsh conditions due to restrictions imposed by the Iranian government, the news agency highlighted.
