As part of Ramadan campaigns, Shirazi-affiliated centres in Afghanistan distribute food baskets to needy families

On the beginning of the month of mercy (month of Ramadan), the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi, in collaboration with the Al-Kawthar Cultural Charitable Foundation, launched a humanitarian initiative

Food baskets were distributed by Al-Kawthar Charitable Foundation, under the supervision and sponsorship of the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, to help people cope with the difficult living conditions.

The office emphasized the importance of this humanitarian initiative, which is based on the instructions of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, as it reflects noble human values that urge extending a helping hand to the poor and needy in every time and place.
