Using phone for just 2 hours a day may raise risk of ADHD in adults, study warns
A recently conducted scientific study warned against excessive use of mobile phone, and revealed some of the harm that this could cause, as prolonged use of the phone daily leads to the user contracting diseases that may transform their life.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that “a recent scientific study conducted by American researchers concluded that prolonged use of a smartphone, which means using it for only two hours a day, “may increase the risk of developing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in adults.”
Scientists say, “The world is witnessing an increase in the number of adults suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and researchers say that smartphones may be the reason.”
The recent study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, said: “People who use their smartphones for two or more hours a day are 10 percent more likely to develop attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.”
