The British capital, London, is preparing to host a symposium on "eco-friendly mosques" to discuss the creativity of mosques in reducing environmental pollution.
The event is to be held next Friday, January 24, 2020 in the Islamic “Abrar” Center.
The lecturers will address the accomplishments of British mosques to reduce environmental pollution, and the most prominent characteristics of eco-friendly mosques.
The event will be attended by "Shahida Rahman" from the Cambridge Mosque, and "Kamran Shahzad" from the "Baho Trust" Foundation in London.
The Cambridge Mosque was opened last month as the first environmentally friendly mosque in Europe, with experts ranked it among the top 10 buildings of 2019 at the UK level.
