Ahmed Mohamed, also known as “Clock Kid,” has just won another title: “American Muslim of the Year.”
American Muslim civil rights organization recognized Mohamed at a special ceremony.
His award was in the shape of a clock.
The Muslim ninth grader from Texas made national headlines last month following an incident where authorities mistook a homemade clock he brought to class for a bomb. Some have said the misunderstanding was a result of racial profiling.
