The 18th anniversary of the late Shirazi in the holy city of Qom

The house of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom witnessed a commemorative ceremony on the 18th anniversary of the demise of the religious authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah bless his soul.

 

The house of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom witnessed a commemorative ceremony on the 18th anniversary of the demise of the religious authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah bless his soul.

The ceremony was attended by a number of distinguished scholars, clerics and Ahlulbayt followers.

The attendees pointed out the important role played by the late scholar such as the establishment of dozens of mosques, seminaries, schools, libraries, publishing houses, charitable lending funds, and his followers and supporters set up many Islamic and humanitarian projects in many parts of the world including Egypt, Sudan, England, Canada, America, India, Pakistan, Australia, Gulf States, Iran, Iraq and others.

This great scholar was nicknamed “The Sultan of Authors” as he has authored more than 1,300 books in the various fields.
