Over the past few days, some activists from the City of Hoveyzeh in Khozistan Province of Iran, along with a famous religious speaker and some custodians of Imam Reza Mosque in this City visited the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi in the holy City of Qom in Iran.

One of the visitors at this meeting offered a report of the activities of Imam Reza Mosque to the Grand Jurist and said: “On behalf of all activists at Imam Reza Mosque in Hoveyze City, I would like to thank your highness for the opportunity to meet you. Before listening to your instructions and statements, I would like to honor and commemorate the late scholar Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Reza Shirazi, whose fountain of knowledge filled our souls and hearts.”

These words were followed by some poems about the holy AhlulBayt (AS), which were recited by another member of Imam Reza Mosque in Hoveyzeh.

The Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said: “Make a firm resolution now, to implement this advice by the Prophet of Islam. You can complete your pilgrimage to Lady Fatima Masoumeh by your implementation of this noble hadith of the Prophet of Islam. I ask God to grant you all success and happiness.”

At the end of this meeting, Sheikh Mansouri, one of the clerics at this meeting said: “Our brothers here come from the City of Hoveyzeh; the City which resisted against the attacks of the Baathist regime during the 8-year war. This City has been an open gate to Shia Islam and it has offered so much to the holy AhlulBayt (AS). We highly respect all scholars who serve the cause of the holy AhlulBayt (AS), and make sacrifices to uphold their memories.”
