UN: Over 200 children killed in Saudi-led strikes in Yemen in 2017

The United Nations says more than 200 Yemeni children have lost their lives and hundreds more sustained injuries in Saudi-led strikes since the beginning of the current year as Riyadh continues its aerial campaign against its crisis-hit southern neighbor.

Shia town of Awamiyah under siege for three months by Saudi army

The International Organization of Shia Rights Watch said in a statement that "The news from the devastated town of Awamiyah confirms the population's exposure to collective punishment by the Saudi authorities, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international human rights law and a worldwide criminal offense." 

Bahraini government closes Diraz main entrance

Bahraini authorities closed, on Wednesday, the main entrance to Al-Diraz, where the country’s Shiite religious clericAyatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, resides under house arrest.
