Largest mourning banner enters Imam Hussein Shrine

A group of Arbaeen pilgrims made a mourning banner, which is considered the largest in Iraq.

 

A group of Arbaeen pilgrims made a mourning banner, which is considered the largest in Iraq.

The group of pilgrims who brought the banner came from the city of Deyala to the holy city of Karbala on Tuesday, Oct 31, 2017, to commemorate the Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The group said that many people from Iraqi cities as well as from governmental foundations participated in sewing the banner.
