New holy grille of Maytham al-Tammar unveiled

Amid a large public attendance, custodians of Maytham al-Tammar, may Allah be pleased with him, holy shrine unveiledthe new holy grille that was accomplished by Iraqi craftsmen.

 

Amid a large public attendance, custodians of Maytham al-Tammar, may Allah be pleased with him, holy shrine unveiledthe new holy grille that was accomplished by Iraqi craftsmen.

Talib Sabah, deputycustodian, told Shiawaves that the holy grille was engraved with 22 botanical inscriptions, Quranic verses, and poetry. He added that the structure is five meters high with the distinctive inscription of the palm that tells the story of how the brave companion of Imam Ali was crucified.

It is worth mentioning that the new holy grille was received with warm welcoming from the Iraqi-Iranian borders to the place it was installed.
