ERZURUM, TURKIYE - AUGUST 14: Archaeologists conduct work at the excavation site where the Degirmenler Hoyuk rescue excavation project is being launched in Erzurum, Turkiye on August 14, 2024. Initial findings at the site, located in the Degirmenler neighborhood of Yakutiye district, have revealed settlements dating back approximately 6,000 years. The excavation, which began on July 1 under the leadership of Erzurum Museum Directorate with permission and support from the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums, has uncovered settlement layers, human and animal bones, and ceramics, all of which are being evaluated according to their respective periods.

در حفاری در تپه دگیرمنلر در ارزروم شرقی ترکیه، آثاری از یک سکونتگاه با قدمت حدود 6000 سال پیدا شده است.
این کشف نشان میدهد، این مکان تا 6000 سال پیش سکونت داشته است و انتظار میرود عمیقتر شدن کاوشها حتی لایههای قدیمیتری را نیز آشکار کند.
