The study, conducted by the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology of the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB), has shown that pursuing higher economic growth may jeopardise the Paris goals and leave no viable pathways for humanity to stabilise the climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The study, however, has confirmed that slower growth rates make it more feasible to achieve the Paris goals.
