Naseer Ahmad Faiq mentioned that for the past two years, women and girls have been deprived of their right to education and the right to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Sunday, in a message commemorating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, he wrote on his X account that the Taliban has explicitly violated the fundamental rights and freedoms of the people, including civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights, especially those of women and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a separate message, the United Nations Political Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has called on the Taliban to embrace human rights obligations as the cornerstone of a peaceful and stable future and to support these rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UNAMA stated, \u201cDespite security improvements since August 2021, the human rights situation in Afghanistan remains grave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
