Egyptians have been proud of the great blessing that occurred in one of the Jewish temples in the capital, Cairo, when it turned into a mosque, due to the blessings of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (peace be upon him), who prayed in it during the journey of captivity from Karbala to Damascus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since that day, the mosque located near the street of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), has become a place for the faithful to seek blessings, said the custodian of the mosque, Sheikh Suleiman Muhammad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Muhammad said in a press statement followed by Shia Waves Agency: “The mosque of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (peace be upon him) located in Zaynahum area, due to its noble name, was once a Jewish temple, and the Imam (peace be upon him) prayed in it when he came with the procession of captives accompanied by his aunt Zainab (peace be upon her) to Egypt.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also explained that “the noble mosque is different from the rest of the shrines of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in Cairo by what is known as the “Rajbiya”, which is a small mawlid that the people conclude the Hijri year with, and the “Rajbiya” is considered a type of commercial activation for the neighborhood, as many visitors from all over the place flock to it.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
