Police in Mumbai, India, have launched an investigation after Quranic verses were found in firecrackers, according to a report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It came in response to a complaint from a local resident about a Quran desecration act, after he found verses of the Quran on the remnants of firecrackers during the Diwali celebrations in the city, police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said pages of the Quran were reportedly used in making the firecrackers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
