{"id":96748,"date":"2023-09-22T19:47:29","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T16:47:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/?p=96748"},"modified":"2023-09-22T19:47:33","modified_gmt":"2023-09-22T16:47:33","slug":"crowds-protest-against-so-called-gender-identity-policies-in-canadas-education-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiawaves.com\/english\/uncategorized\/96748-crowds-protest-against-so-called-gender-identity-policies-in-canadas-education-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Crowds protest against so-called \u201cgender identity\u201d policies in Canada\u2019s education system"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Many Thousands of concerned people \u2014 some along with their school-age children \u2014 rallied in various cities across Canada, and other major cities such as London, on Wednesday morning to protest a variety of policies they see as violating their rights as parents, and in some cases, their religious rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The protest movement, known widely as the 1 Million March 4 Children, had called on people to join on its website and social media platforms, saying \u201cBrothers and Sisters of Humanity, join us in the March to Protect Our Children from Indoctrination and Sexualization.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A statement issued by the movement reads: \u201cUniting diverse backgrounds and faiths, we share a resolute purpose: advocating for the elimination of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) curriculum, pronouns, gender ideology and mixed bathrooms in schools.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many Christians and Muslims participated in the huge rally as a sign of solidarity for a common purpose to confront a system some described as \u201cgodless\u201d and \u201cevil\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNot everyone has your child\u2019s best interest at heart. Most of them want to pervert them, want to make them very flexible towards the government\u2019s next agenda. They want to educate them and indoctrinate them so that they won\u2019t stand against them as they push more and more evil on this world,\u201d said one participant in Windsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imam Hmam, of the Imam Hussein Foundation in Windsor, stressed that parents must be the ultimate arbitrator of their teachings. \u201cAre you the ones who brought our children into this world, or was it us parents who brought them into this world with God\u2019s permission?\u201d he asked of policy makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf wise parents, saw that my child was being physically tortured by an individual, wouldn\u2019t it be my right to defend my child? To stop the torture?
