Large processions from Basra, Nasiriyah, Diwaniyah and Baghdad began their walk a few days ago towards the holy shrine of the Infallible Imam al-Hassan al-Askari, peace be upon him, in Samarra, 125 kilometers (78 mi) north of the capital Baghdad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Shia Waves correspondent said that “Service processions have set up along the roads to provide the honorable pilgrims with food and cold water and places where they can rest to resume their walk.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
