Henrietta Fore, UNICEF\u2019s Executive Director, has called for immediate action and aid in response to this ongoing crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She emphasised that an entire generation is at stake, with the trauma these children endure having long-lasting consequences for their development and their nation\u2019s stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Democratic Republic of Congo continues to be the country with the highest number of serious violations against children, as indicated by the UN\u2019s Annual Report on Children and Armed Conflict. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
