The organization said, on its Twitter account, that the Court of Cassation in Bahrain upheld the death penalty against the two men despite the evidence that they had been tortured.<\/p>\n
The courts of the Bahraini regime had issued a death sentence in 2014 on Ramadan and Musa, and the ruling was upheld in 2015, but in 2018 medical reports were revealed confirming that they had been tortured to extract confessions by force, which led to the suspension of the two sentences, and a request for a review of the case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
