According to historical sources, on this day, people of Banu Asad came to the holy city of Karbala on the insistence of their women and encountered the bodies of the martyrs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like every year, mourning processions of Banu Asad set off after the noon prayers from the shrine of Sayyid Jodeh towards the Qibla Street of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, to reach the holy shrine and then continue the ritual in Baynul Haramayn and the shrine of al-Abbas, peace be upon him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
