Ashura mourning ceremonies have begun in the house of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A statement by His Eminence\u2019s office, received by Shia Waves News Agency, said that \u201cGrand Ayatollah Shirazi attended the mourning ceremonies in the presence of large crowds of seminary students, scholars and otger Shias of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It added that “these Husseini mourning ceremonies shed light on the injustice and oppression Imam Hussein, his family and honorable companions were subjected to by the enemies of Islam.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be mentioned that the ceremonies were telecast in the mourning and evening on Imam Hussein Media Group, where Shia attendees prayed to Allah Almighty to bring forward the reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi, peace be upon him, to seek revenge for Imam Hussein and his family and companions, peace be upon them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
