It should be noted that the Atlantic migration route, typically used by refugees from sub-Saharan Africa, is one of the deadliest in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nearly 800 people have died or gone missing in the first half of 2023, according to Walking Borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
