New data in UNICEF\u2019s State of the World\u2019s Children 2023 report show a significant drop in confidence in the importance of vaccines for children in 52 out of 55 countries studied, noting that vaccination rates have declined by more than a third in South Korea, Papua New Guinea, Ghana, Senegal, and Japan. Only in three countries \u2014 China, India, and Mexico \u2014 did the data show people remained positive about the health benefits of vaccination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
