The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) strongly condemned the repressive actions committed by the Burmese army forces towards the protesters demanding democracy, calling on the international community to urgently intervene to stop these violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organization said in a statement, received by Shia Waves Agency, that: “Many data from within Burma reported that the military forces committed a massacre in the (Sagaing) region, which resulted in the killing and wounding and displacement of hundreds of civilians.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It added that well-informed sources said that “An air strike launched by the army during a gathering in Kanablu district, central Burma, killed more than (170 citizens), in addition to dozens injured.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Human rights data also indicate that more than 3,200 people, mostly civilians, have been killed by the Military Council since it overthrew the elected government in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Nonviolence Organization urged the international body of the United Nations, led by the Security Council, “to take action to stop these violations and work to hand those involved in the killing of innocent civilians to the International Criminal Court for legal and legitimate trial.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
