The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, emphasized that believing women have a great responsibility in defending Islam and the Prophet of Mercy and Guidance peace be upon him and his pure family, as this responsibility is not restricted to men. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech to the Ramadan Annual Women\u2019s Gathering, followed by Shi\u2019a Waves Agency: Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said that \u201cBelieving women must do their duty to defend and respond to the attacks and suspicions raised against the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and the infallible Imams (peace be upon them).\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He continued, “These attacks are widely spreading on social media platforms; therefore, our believing women are required to confront these attacks in defense of the truth and as part of fulfilling their responsibility.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
His Eminence explained that “everyone, men or women, must assume full responsibility towards conveying the biography of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) and the biography of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the great month of Ramadan.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
