The al-Abbas Combat Brigade said in a statement that its forces, along with the Third Armored Brigade used heavy fire in the early hours of Sunday to repulse the attack, the Baghdad Today daily reported.<\/p>\n
It said the attack was launched by the terrorists from Ramadi desert area with the aim of capturing al-Nukhayb area.<\/p>\n
