The Prince of Wales also sent a message of support to the British Muslim community as part of a virtual Iftar at the start of Ramadan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
After using the famous Islamic greeting \u2018Assalumu Alykum\u2019, Prince Charles said: ‘Most tragically I know that a number of highly experienced and invaluable doctors and nurses from the Muslim community have lost their lives to this pernicious virus.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘To their families and colleagues, I can only convey my deepest possible sympathy, and to everyone on the front line of whatever religion, I offer my profound admiration and heartfelt gratitude for everything they are doing for all of us.<\/p>\n
